El Murki is Leandro Ramirez from Argentina. On "Breakeadito" he gives his take on rapid and bizarre abstracted beat music. There is definitely a distant footwork flavor present, particular when the sub bass triplets kick in, but to label the album as such would be to ignore the Buenos Aires free noise / improvisational scene Leandro came up in. His work is a beautiful hybrid specific to this place and time.El M
